#2720(BEKE/35040) This is a 2013-W American Eagle Platinum Coin Program: Preamble Series $100 Proof Coin from the U.S. Mint. This beautiful coin is 1 troy ounce of 99.95% platinum. Reverse: The design is emblematic of the principle "To Promote the General Welfare," the fifth of six principles of American democracy found in the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution. It features Young America against interlocking gears, symbolizing the interconnection of power between the states and the national government. It also features an American Eagle privy mark from an original "coin punch" identified at the U.S. Mint at Philadelphia. It comes in a nice display folder with outer box, sleeve, and certificate of authenticity.
