This adorable Chinese Medal was minted by the Shanghai Mint in the People's Republic of China. It was designed by Yu Min and the medal is the first offering from China that features the use of the metric system. Chinese medals have become increasingly popular with their stellar designs and low mintages.It is graded PR (Proof) 69 Deep Cameo (DCAM) by PCGS. There was only one medal that was graded PR70 by PCGS which developed milk spots. So this medal is 1 of 10 PR69's graded by PCGS out of an already limited mintage. The medal will ship with the pictured Certificate of Authenticity to further certify this offering as # 0663.* The picture of the medal showing both the obverse and reverse with certificate number is part of PCGS's True View and Secure Plus service and shows the actual medal as recorded by PCGS.
