2014 W American Silver Eagle "Burnished" Uncirculated Silver Dollar. The US mint produces three types of Silver Eagles. The "BU" or what I consider "bullion", is sold in tubes of twenty or large boxes and does not have a mint mark. The "Proof" which uses a specially-treated planchet or blank that produces the "mirror" like finish and the "burnished" which uses a "burnished" planchet or blank that produces the satin like field behind the frosted features. Both the "Proof" and the "Burnished" carry the "W" mint mark from West Point. This coinis the "Burnished" variety with Satin finish. These coins were purchased directly from the US Mint and minted at West Point. The Silver Eagle is 1 oz. 99.9% pure silver. They are beautiful uncirculated coins in the original packaging with COA (Certificate of Authenticity). Thanks for looking! "S & T Collectibles"
