#204 CUP PLATE LR #691 Smoky Sandwich Glass This is a 3 3/16" diameter early American Sandwich or other early glass maker cup plate. The collector had this one identified with a "smoky" sticker and the glass does appear more "smoky" than cup plate #203. It is # 691 in the Lee & Rose book on the subject. It is in the condition shown, photographed twice and you should assume it has some minor roughness and chipping. Please see pictures to judge condition. This is part of a nice, old 50 year collection of early American glass that we were lucky enough to buy. It is from a collector who lived for early glass and I'd guess some of these cup plates are rare and hard to find. I know it would take years to put this collection together now, if you could find the items at all. Please see my listings as we continue to sell these pieces on eBay, all at NO reserve!
