Here is an AS-207/CRT-3 Reel Antenna (RL-48) and Door assembly for the SCR-578 "Gibson Girl" air crew survival / emergency transmitter. (BC-778A, T-74/CRT-3, AN/CRT-3, SCR-578) Issued during (and subsequent to) World War II. Being offered as-pictured, as-is. Please examine photos carefully before bidding. I have never unreeled the antenna wire to inspect it or determine overall length. If you are looking at this listing, the chances are you're a military buff who knows at least as much about this item as I do. I will include a copy of 5 pages from AN 16-30CRT3-2 - Section I General Description and Section III Operation. Buyer pays actual shipping and insurance cost.
