HISTORIC OLD CEDAR NET FLOATS Salmon Fishing 210 Wooden Cedar 6" Floats Pictured pieces are the floats you will receive. 162 of these floats average 9" in circumference and 48 of them averages 11" in circumference. Because of their sleeker design, the 9" ones are called divers . These are original, authentic, cedar fishing floats. No longer in use, they're occasionally found in net sheds along the Pacific NW coast. Cedar net floats, 6" long & lathe-turned, were used in the salmon fisheries of Oregon, Washington & Alaska. These particular floats were manufactured by the Columbia River Net Company in Astoria, Oregon. Approximately 4 million were milled between 1946 & 1952.
