This auction is for a rare 22" Franklin Mint "Presentation To The Queen" Gibson Girl Doll. All Gibson Girl dolls are authorized by Dana Gibson, great-granddaughter of Charles Dana Gibson, original creator of the Gibson Girl. She is a very rare doll and in new condition. Her hairnet is intact and never removed. I describe every item in extreme detail! She is a collector's dream at this low start price, with no reserve. This doll was stored in a climate-controlled area, and all our dolls are from smoke-free environments. She is clean and free of any odors whatsoever. This doll is hard-to-find, even on Ebay. This doll is a beauty! The original owner purchased the dolls as an investment, and boy did the owner keep these dolls new. This doll is being listed at a low auction starting price with no reserve. These rare dolls increase in value over the years with the rarity. I go to a lot of estate sales, and I find these beautiful dolls perhaps once a year, so this is a rare opportunity for you to own her. Most auctions would start her at a very high price, but not us. "This doll has been crafted hand-painted porcelain, and dressed in a gown of golden jacquard, sculptured with an intricate floral pattern, overlaid with golden tulle, and trimmed with scalloped lace and hand-made satin ribbon roses. She wears a necklace set with dazzling crystals and a fuax-pearl tiara. ....she is strictly limited to 45 firing days." The doll comes with her Certificate of Authenticity, Franklin Mint Tag, authorized by Dana Gibson, her lognette and stand. We do not have the "Birth of Venus" accessory or the faux boa.
