Put cold water in the base, fill it until the pipe is about 1 to 2 inches deep in the water. Put charcoal in the ceramic bowl. Cover the ceramic top with foil paper, this way the charcoal will burn slow. Make small holes in the foil so the air can come out. Put charcoal on the top of the foil. Remember not to put too much charcoal or else it will burn too fast. Put a little bit and it will burn slower and last longer.
