23-inch antique doll, bisque head with balljointed composition body. DOLL SOLD AS IS! Head does not have any hairlines, chips, or cracks, but also DOES NOT HAVE EYES, PATE, OR HAIR! Left cheek (see first photo) has a small dark dot mid-cheek, on same level of nose, that looks like dirt but will not come off and is not raised or chipped; it appears to be a firing flaw under the skin. Head marked GERMANY 6 (unknown German maker). Body is strung tightly, no missing fingers but hands appear grayish though they retain their red fingernail lines. Left lower leg has original red paint lines between toes, but has a gouge below knee that was painted over. LEFT FOOT HAS REPAIR --- toe area was possibly rebuilt, definitely repainted; does not have the red lines. In summary this doll has potential; she is pretty, structurally sound, and guaranteed circa 1900, but she definitely needs eyes, hair, & clothes! No odor, from a nonsmoking home. SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS; combined shipping discount. Will ship to Unite d States only; PayPal only accepted; NO RESERVE!
