23 ANTIQUE DOUBLE X QUILT BLOCKS 6.5" HAND PIECED 1900sThe 23 antique Double X blocks are hand pieced with either black or white thread. The background is a white muslin; the prints are brown, double pink, blue, indigo, and black in plaids, florals, plaids, checks, stripes and more.I believe the blocks have been laundered as t are a few holes. The piecing is not the best (as are many antique blocks). My intention was to take them apart, use a new white muslin and resew the blocks. Reset, it would make a nice little quilt with antique fabrics.The time has come to come to grips with the fact I probably will never re-do them so they are.
