Welcome to my listing!This listing is for a: Renaissance Style Dress for 23 Inch Doll - Purple on Purple Tone This is a delightful outfit, made in traditional, Renaissance, Celtic style, for your doll to enjoy, when she's pretending to live in a castle long ago, or is spending her day at the Renaissance Faire! Features: Handmade by me, using handstitching, sewing machine and serger. Fits 23 inch dolls, similar in size to MY TWINN brand dolls. One Piece overdress, bodice and skirt combination, which opens in the front. Fully interfaced bodice. Boning at opening on each side of bodice. Silver toned eyelets for lacing the bodice. Serged and turned under edges on the skirt of the overdress. Fully interfaced and lined hat (tam) for shaping to your taste. A simple, plain, white, cotton or cotton blend fabric chemise, usually made of muslin or broadcloth. This fabric has an occasional speckle or thread with a tint of color in it which is natural to this type of fabric. The chemise has an adjustable drawstring neck tie, which ties in the back. The chemise has elastic gathering at the wrists. This doll dress is best suited for older children or adults, as the lacing takes a some coordination, which may be difficult for small children. I recommend only older children play with the dresses I make, as they sometimes have small parts, which may come loose with hard play. The overdress is made using a new, unwashed so it still has it's original sheen, purple cotton fabric accented with swirls of a lighter purple tone. The dresses I make are stirdy, and meant to be for fun. I recommend indoor play so washing won't be a concern. If washing is necessary, to minimize shrinkage, I reccommend spot cleaning, or cold, hand wash, line dry, and warm, not hot, ironing if needed. Thank you for looking!
