23 inch French Market Simon Halbig Mold 1009 Doll on French Body

This beautiful doll is the very desirable 1009 mold which was made by Simon Halbig and was sold to the French market. This doll although technically only 23 inches has a large presence because her head is large for the height because of the chunk French body it sits on. The head has been checked for hairlines and none were found. There is a factory bump on her forehead which I have taken a picture of. Also, there is a chip on the hole where the string to hold her eyes in place for transport once was. Again, please look at the picture. She has huge cornflower blue sleep eyes with wax lids. The body has its usual wear marks in the joints and the lower legs seem to have a repaint done. I don't believe that they are replacements but I can't guarantee that. Please look at the pictures. This is how it came to me. The doll comes wearing an antique baby dress that was altered to fit her and the blue ribbon complements her blue eyes. Her wig is synthetic and has a replacement pate. Her underclothes consist of nicely made replacement pantaloons and vintage chemise. No shoes. This doll is sold as is so please ask questions before buying her. I am offering her for a very fair price because of the minor imperfections on her head and the lower legs. Thank you.
