IT AL Y AT WAR on 24 (Twenty Four!!) RARE & MINT UNUSED NEVER HINGED FULLY GUMMED POSTE ITALIANE STAMPS!!! This is a complete series of WW2 Italian Patriotic Stamps issued at the height of the war to promote the Italian War Effort!! The stamps come in joined pairs, one half of which has the portrait of King Vittorio Emmanuel. The other half has a dramatic military scene and a morale-boosting slogan in Italian. Each color represents a different bracnh of the Italian Armed Forces (Navy, Air Force and Army). You will receive 4 different 25 Centi sets in deep forest green, 4 different 30 Centi sets in rich chocolate brown, and 4 different 50 Centi sets in deep purple!! It is very hard to put together this entire collection!! The military scenes include: A squadron of bombers flying in formation overhead with the slogan "Tutto e Tutti Per La Vittoria" (All and Everything for Victory) The massive guns of a battle ship with the slogan "La Disciplina e Arma di Vittoria" (Discipline is the weapon of Victory).
