This is Louisa, a beautiful large 24" porcelain collector doll marked Seymour MANN Designed by Helene Exclusively for Seymour Mann, Inc. 1998 75/2400. She has porcelain head, forearms, and legs to the knee. Lovely delicate face paint with stationary blue eyes with lashes intact and a blonde wig of curls that reach her waist in the back This is one of those dolls that is so much more gorgeous in person than the pictures! A lovely doll, but the costume is really fabulous! The costume is worth my asking price and could be used on an older or antique doll. Her dress is Dresden blue satin with an ecru embroidered net overlay, tiny pleats on the upper bodice & an organza waist sash. Over that she has a lavender beige coat of crushed velvet lined with the blue satin & trimmed with ecru lace. Her wired hat is the crushed velvet lined with ruched blue satin & trimmed with blue ribbon, feathers & organza ties. Underneath she has a separate stuffed bustle that tied around the waist to shape her costume, lavish ecru lace trimmed petticoat, matching bloomers, lace stockings & shoes trimmed with blue ribbon rosettes. The dress has sleeves & the coat is a separate garment (I did not remove it), the sign of a deluxe level costume! The gray-blue color of the dress & ecru laces enhance the antique style of the costume! This doll is from a collector'
