Just short of perfection! This beautiful set of State House sterling in the FORMALITY pattern (1942) without monograms appears to have been used very little and was certainly well cared for. T is some extremely light scratching on a some of the pieces and the only flaw I found was a hairline crack or deep scratch on the bottom side of two of the hollow knife handles. The set consists of:6 modern hollow handle knives 9 1/4 inch, with stainless steel blades6 dinner forks 7 1//8 inch6 salad forks 6 1/4 inch6 teaspoons 6 1/8 inchTotal weight of the pieces (without the knives) is 22.5 ounces, equal to 640 grams. These items are available commercially and if purchased separately, the 24 pieces would cost around $550.00. I was fortunate to find this group at a great price, so I can start this auction at a low price for you. Buyer pays postage and insurance and I request payment within 7 days of the end of the auction or the items may be relisted. Seller is not responsible for loss or damage once the items have been shipped. WI buyers add 5% sales tax.
