Our undressed all bisque Bru Jne 13 reproduction has been cast in white slip and given several overall washes to achieve the delicate colouring of this delightful doll, with her peaches and cream complexion and large expressive eyes. The lashes and brows have been delicately painted and she has a lovely softly painted mouth. She has enchanting Blue glass threaded paperweight eyes and her ears are pierced and wearing very pretty ear-rings. She has a good quality Brown hand made mohair wig and is on an all bisque body with bisque lower arms. Completed size of doll is 9. 5" (24cm) Bill & Carole Parrish have been making reproductions of the wonderful antique dolls since 1978 and each head is signed and dated by the artist (Carole) on the back of the head. We study every detail of the artwork of the original antique doll with a view to authentically and accurately reproducing them in order to compliment the antique dolls and appeal to the collectors.
