The book "Pounding Out The Profits", by Douglas Freund shows a Kerrihard Power Hammer on the cover of the book. This Power Hammer was made by The Karrihard Company of Red Oak, Iowa. The serial number is 1208 and it's the Earlier Style Hammer that Kerrihard made. It weighs 765 lbs. including the pallet it's bolted to. It can forge iron up to 2 inches in diameter. In ten minutes this machine can do the work it would take a blacksmith all day to do by hand. This hammer should last the new owner a life time if properly maintained. Kerrihard power hammers have a reputation of being easy to adjust and not needing a lot of adjustments. This Power Hammer is in excellent working condition and is ready to plug in and go to work.
