25 reels of Ampex 641, 1/4" by 1800 feet of blank tape on 7 inch reels. Ampex 641 is the best of its kind, and this is as inexpensive as it's going to get (and still be in excellent condition). This tape has been degaussed, is splice-free and hand-selected (by me!) for smooth winding, with no cupping or warpage. These Ampex tapes are the best of the best. I personally guarantee you'll be happy with every reel. Check our feedback, no-one has ever complained! 1800' reels give up to 6 hours of recording time (using 4 tracks at the slow speed). This tape yields a full (and flat!) frequency response on Ampex, Otari, Teac, Sony, Akai, Pioneer, Revox and all other machines as well. These tapes are NOT back-coated and will not cause "sticky-shed syndrome" (squealing). These tapes have been kept and still are in a temperature/humidity controlled warehouse (no kidding)! Shipping/handling is by U. S. Media Mail (the tracking number is sent upon shipment anyw with a zip code for a flat rate of $18). Bigger savings are available for larger lots (and we'll beat any price)! These tapes are bulk packed, without individual boxes.
