#26 - 32L15 Rose Brown Shade, Relief D, very faint right frame line, tied by black "New-York/JUN/8/1859" CDS. Cover (no back flap) addressed to " Mr. C.C. Zabriskie, Merchant, Paramus, Paterson, N. Jersey ". No contents. Research shows that Cornelius C. Zabriskie, of Paramus, served as Captain of the Saddle River Militia during the War of 1812. He died November 20, 1865, aged 82, and was buried in the Vault Lot off Dunkerhook Road. See /Pages/zabriskie.html See Scan and
