Up for auction is a set of 27 photos measuring 7 x 9 1/2 overall, with an actual print size of 5 x 8 of the Liberation of Paris. Photos are in great condition with minor warping and dogears. Photos are quarenteed original WWII era, as the soldier brought these home at the end of the war. Both photos and folder have "Kodak-Pathe. S.A.F. Paris" printed on them. Cover folder also has "La Liberation De Paris" on the cover, the cover as well is in great shape. Each photo has Liberation of Paris above actual photo as well as the photos description below the photo. Some of the photo descriptions are............ General Eisenhover at the Arc de Triamphe, Tanks of Leclerc's division, Pennsyvanian Division parade: the sign of Victory, After the street-fight: the Germans' surrender, Staue of King Edward VII: Removed by the Germans: Replaced September 1944, and more.......
