This beautiful Fatou by Annette Himstedt has hard vinyl limbs and swivel head on a deep, softly molded shoulder plate, and a cloth torso. She has pretty light brown eyes and lashes, and an abundance of luscious curly brown hair. She has a lovely face with a pensive expression. Fatou is dressed in a rose colored cotton dress with white collar, and a white cotton over dress with a lot of beautiful white crocheted trim. Both have sewn-in cloth tags with the name Annette Himstedt in script. The doll has a white cotton eyelet-trimmed half-slip with matching undies. All original and in clean, very good condition. Fatou has never been played with or displayed. Her only flaw is a faint rub on the forehead. Her head is marked: Fatou/Annette Himstedt. The shoulder plate is marked: Annette Himstedt. The body is tagged with a tag sewn into a side seam of her brown cloth torso: Annette Himstedt 1985/ Mattel, Inc. / Hawthorne, CA 90250 U.S.A. / Made in Spain. Fatou also has her original box.
