I'm selling my partially painted Byzantine army I was putting together for WAB. The painted figures are all Gripping Beast and are based and flocked on Litko bases with magnetic bottoms. They consist of: Army general and standard bearer, 1 unit of 12 Kataphraktoi (8 mace/4 bow) with LSM, 1 unit of 12 Kavallarioi (8 kontos/4 bow) with LSM, 1 unit of 15 Varangians with LSM, 10 Kontaratoi spearmen, 10 skirmishers with Solenarion. Some have LBMS shield transfers and some are hand painted. The unpainted miniatures are all Crusader and consist of: 1 box set of 24 Skutatoi spearmen with LSM, 2 blisters of 3 Kataphraktoi w/bows, 1 blister of 3 Kataphractoi with kontos, 1 blister of 3 Kataphractoi command, and 1 blister of 8 armoured archers. That's a total of 38 mounted and 67 foot figures. These are essentially new and unused, the painted figures have never seen battle. I calculated the cost of these figures new and unpainted to be $315. I am also including a copy of the WAB Supplement Byzantium Beyond The Golden Gate, which is in excellent condition.
