29 PC.GLIDDEN POTTERY MID CENTURY MODERN EAMES ERA NR! Description : This auction is for a 29 piece collection of Glidden pottery from the 40's or possibly early 50's. The glaze color is turquoise with speckles of tan showing through. Included in this lot are the following: (1) 12 1/4" square chop plate #29; (1) 10" x 1 3/4" deep square serving dish #28; (1) 8" x 1 1/2" deep square serving dish #25; (1) 9" x 7" x 1 1/2" deep rectangular serving dish #24; (1) 11" x 7" x 5 1/2" deep rectangular covered casserole #103; (1) creamer #143; (1) covered sugar bowl #144; (1) 10 3/8" square plate #31; (3) 9 3/4" square plates #31; (4) 8" square plates #33; (4) 5 3/4" square plates #35; (4) 4" square coasters #19; and finally (4) 5 1/4" tumblers #1127. All pieces are hand incised with Glidden and the mold number. All pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, glaze loss or utinsil markings.
