Description: An Indonesian masterpiece sculpture...meticulously carved with chisel and mallet, this statue is large enough to be a beautiful centerpiece in any location! This unique hand carved sitting Buddha statue was crafted from a dense Javan green river stone sometime in the early 21st century. A rare find, this sitting Buddha will compliment any space, especially entryways. Additional Description: The proportions and detail of this solid stone, hand carved, statue are accurate and clean. This type of stone is very dense and any finished sculpture using this stone is filled with rich, earthy tones, smooth curves and a solid core. This statue is of temple quality and will last hundreds if not thousands of years. Background History: We recently purchased this statue in Indonesia where it was hand carved by the artist and personally chosen by the experienced staff at Trade Wind Statues . The statue was shipped to its current location in Colorado, USA. PayPal is our preferred method of payment. We can also accept direct bank transfers, personal checks, and cash upon pickup. Personal checks may take up to 15 business days to clear. Crating and shipping arrangements will be confirmed only after full payment has cleared. We have shipped many statues in the United States and around the world. Prior to shipping your statue, we will build a solid wood crate around the statue, using bubble wrap and other protective materials. The statue will be picked up at our location in Colorado and shipped directly to you. All statues weighing over 100 lbs. will crated on a pallet of appropriate size and delivered with a lift-gate truck. The shipping company will contact the buyer prior to delivery to make arrangements that work for you.
