SIGN UP FOR MY STORE NEWSLETTER ^^ 2 VERY ANTIQUE GERMAN PILLOWCASES - MIX & MATCH Almost a match - both are very old with beautiful, though slightly different hand-made lace in the upper corners, both have double rows of buttonholes in the back. The first lace corner pillowcase is 31" by 29". The second lace corner pillowcase also has 5 narrow, neat tucks on 3 sides, and a monogram "HS" or "SH". It is 32" by 29", and t is a yellow stain (pic), I did not try to remove. Fortunately, it is at the very bottom of the pillowcase and may not show in any case. These would be very beautiful over a colorful inlet on the pillow insert. ******************** COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Germany, ca. 1900 MATERIAL: cotton CONDITION: very good, stain mentioned above - I didn't find any breaks in the lace which is a miracle considering the age. Storage marks, surface dust, and age spots are a normal occurrence with vintage/antique linen pieces and will not be mentioned as flaws - since one launder will remove them. Any more permanent flaws like age-old stains, rust spots, holes, and mends will always be listed under CONDITION ********* PLEASE, TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT ELSE I AM OFFERING.....ALWAYS INTERESTING STUFF FROM THE OLD COUNTRY!!
