The full details on the tins are as follows: 10 - PERCUSSION CAPS MK.III. B.H. LOT NO. /43 CAPS FILLED I.C.I. KYNOCH /43 10 - PERCUSSION CAPS MK.III. B.H. LOT NO. /44 CAPS FILLED I.C.I. KYNOCH /43 The tins each measure 70mm x 52mm x20mm, and are marked "MB6" (the code for Metal Box Ltd, factory No.6). We believe these would have originally contained the percussion caps for Army, Para, Airborne Forces demolition chargers, or for use with the Home Guard Blacker Bombard or Spigot Mortar. These examples came from an ex-Yorkshire Home Guard batch, found in an attic, where they had been since the war.A nice pair of original WW2 tins. Good condition considering their age.
