2x (M. Pair!) Telefunken AZ1 (AZ 1), Mesh Plate, Globe! You are bidding on a matched pair of old-production (date codes are 7/1936 and 12/1938) Telefunken AZ1 rectifiers in excellent electrical and visual (very strong print on top, see photos) condition. Globe-style bulb, mesh plates. The tubes look like new, although the putty in the socket had dried out, so I have affixed tubes' bases with paper tapes. T's also some small amount of dust (?) particles inside the tubes, which is pretty usual with valves this vintage. Both tubes measured on BM215A as approx. 100%, and are well matched at 87 / 94 mA and 86 / 94 mA. T is nothing to add – simply THE best AZ1s ever produced and in excellent condition... Many old radios and pre/amplifiers use this now rare rectifier in their power supplies... I measured the tubes for a long period to ensure stable performance. Bidding starts at $0.99 US!
