Item Photos DESCRIPTION Offered with NO RESERVE and starting at our usual low price are these 2 lovely porcelain plates produced by MEISSEN in quality porcelain and superbly HAND PAINTED with colourful flowers and butterflies. These 2 are ALMOST a matching pair with the same main flowers and butterflies although there is 1 additional flower on one of the large central panels (a yellow daisy and bud just above and to the right of the large red/orange flower) and the little scattered floral sprigs vary on the two plates. SIZE - Pictures are MAGNIFIED to show detail, so please judge size by measurements as, when enlarged, these will look larger than they actually are Each measures approximately 8 3/8 inches (21.3cms) in diameter - a dessert plate size. CONDITION IS EXCELLENT although with minor signs of use. There are NO CHIPS, CRACKS, REPAIRS, RESTORATION ETC (the little white patches on the rim are just wear to the gilding, not chips). The painted flowers etc remains in lovely condition, with just a couple of little tiny scratches to the large orange flower (see pictures). The vulnerable gilding has some wear in places. MAKER'S MARK Each is marked as pictured.
