American Indian Heritage Foundation by Paul Calle - Collector Plates This complete set has been DISPLAYED, early '90's when my father purchased them. the American Indian Heritage Foundation COLLECTION are these 3 round plates, 45 Day firing, all have gold rim and low numbering by FRANKLIN MINT. Paul Calle is a master of both the oil painting and the pencil drawing. His drawings âe" often very large âe" show incredible control and sensitivity; they have the quality of fine etchings. Few contemporary artists have attained greater mastery of the pencil than Calle, who shares his skills in his book, The Pencil, a record of his odyssey as "an artist with a pencil." It has been translated into French, Chinese and Russian. Calle's oil paintings, finely detailed panoramic landscapes of the majestic West, often take several years to complete.
