3 Pyrex Corning Ware Petite Glass Lids MARKED P41 GC I guess I understand why these lids are so hard to come by. I finally came across some and, at first glance, I thought they were perfect. However, they all have issues.... Lid is in EXCELLENT condition with one exception. It has what looks to be a 1/8" long x 1/16" wide scrape to the underside of the lid near the handle. On closer examination, I think it's a manufacturing flaw. For the most part, it is IN the glass (between the thickness of the glass). Maybe air or contaminant was introduced during the process?!?! If you hold the lid in the light just right, you can see very tiny ripples almost completely surrounding the area and it is also slightly recessed in that spot. You can barely feel it when you run your fingernail across it - but it is visible. Outside of the flaw, it is in EXCELLENT condition!!! NO NICKS, CHIPS, CRACKS or SCRATCHES!! On the underside lip (opposite side that comes in contact with the dish - in other words, the inside of the lip) t are several nicks to the glass on one of the four sides and one or two nicks to another of the four sides. The lip is very thin in this area. Outside of the nicks, it is in EXCELLENT condition!!! NO NICKS, CHIPS, CRACKS or SCRATCHES!!
