Please read this auction posting in its entirety prior to placing a bid on this item. From the Walt Disney Classics Collection... Maurice with Lumiere - "Is Someone T?" This figurine from Disney's Beauty and the Beast depicts Maurice - Lumiere in hand - as he investigates a startling noise. The WDCC item number for this piece is 1236748. With Lumiere held high over his head, Maurice stands eight inches high. The annual incised production mark on this piece is the Bumblebee from Walt Disney's musical Melody Time signifying production in 2004. This piece was only produced for one year and rapidly sold out. This piece is "plussed" with three metallic paints - gold, brass and bronze. The cloak clasp and belt buckle of Maurice are painted with gold paint. Lumiere is painted with brass and bronze paint. This particular piece was one of the first produced and is distinguishable from the overall edition by the painting of the stockings Maurice wears. Note that the right stocking is striped and the left stocking is solid. This was subsequently modified in production. Due to the extremely limited number of sculptures in the first shipment of this piece, scupltures with one striped and one solid stocking are considered the rarest in the edition.
