New.Made of tool steel.Natural finish.Precision machined,hardened and precision ground. .303 British headspace gauge set.Includes a GO,NO GO,Field and Royal Field (.074"). The GO,NO GO and Field are made to SAMMI es with storage case. GO:Stamped "G" used to check if the headspace is to tight.The main concern with this is the firing pin puncturing the primer.If the bolt dose not close on the gauge then the rifle should NOT be fired.If the bolt dose close on the GO gauge then a NO GO and perhaps field gauge should be used to determine if the rifle has a long headspace. NO GO:Stamped "N" used to determine if the firearm has a long headspace.If the bolt fully closes on this gauge the Field Gauge will be needed next to check for excessive headspace.If the bolt dose not close on the gauge then the firearms headspace is with-in the proper specifications. Field Gauge:Stamped "F" used to determine if the firearm has excessive headspace.If the bolt fully closes on this gauge according to SAMMI specification's the firearm should not be fired.
