Own an ORIGINAL, extremely rare genuine piece of doll sewing history! An ORIGINAL, vintage Boudoir, French doll costume pattern from the early 1930s~Butterick 439~for an elegant 30 inch "Costume For French Doll", consisting of 3 variations of a lace trimmed Dress and Underwear. These dolls are also known as Bed Dolls. The pattern pieces are on pre-cut tissue, with directional perforations. Fully illustated directions are present and the doll costume pattern pieces are COMPLETE. I've included some scanned photos of the directions for you. Check out the envelope front and back for descriptions of material requirements, etc. The envelope is in nice, readable condition, with the envelope flap being present and attached. All my pattern envelopes are in their own protective transparent sleeve. The photos were scanned and compiled by me. All my vintage patterns have been personally counted and carefully preserved by me. I store the pattern pieces carefully in a manilla folder, with the envelope (when there is one) in its own transparent protective sleeve. These are placed together in a larger transparent protective sleeve, which is the condition in which you will receive this pattern.
