It is very cute, very feminine & very popular. A 1930's Sunbonnet Girls quilt. 73" x 76". Hand quilted w/10 stitches per inch. Thin batting. Figures wer appliqued onto the quilt w/black embroidery stitches. 25 blocks, each w/1 girl. Each block is 9" x 10". Pink binding & bars between the blocks.Condition - sadly, this is a cutter quality quilt. One end has been cut off. 3 blocks have spots. 1 block has a ripped dress. SOme of the embroidered bonnet ties are gone. Really, t is embroidery missing on a number of the blocks. Many of the blocks could be salvaged, but some would need some additional black embroideery. (The embroidery stitches are pretty basic - plain stitching, blanket stitch, French knots.)A PRETTY read more
