Mineral: Black Tourmaline with Goshenite, Hyalite Opal and QuartzLocation: Erongo Massif, Erongo Region, NamibiaMeasurements: 8.5 x 7.5 x 6.5 CMWeight: Over 350 gramsDescription: Beautiful large single point of Black Tourmaline. Termination is made up of lots of tiny termination points with some small Goshenite(clear gemmy beryl) up to 8mm. On the side of the tourmaline crystal there is a nice patch of U/V reactive Hyalite Opal measuring 1.5 x 0.6 CM. The crystal is double terminated with some crystal termination definition and some self-healed or contact. Near that termination there is a small cluster of black tourmaline and mica. Very cool black tourmaline specimen with associated minerals.Photo: Photos were taken with macro lens with combined outside and inside light.
