Offered for a 7-day, NO RESERVE auction is this absolutely fabulous, guaranteed Victorian, hand-carved quatersawn oak figural dragon decorative backsplash. I can only imagine the dresser that is sat upon...must have been a stunner! As noted, this fully winged, fire-breathing dragon is 36" long, 2.5" wide at its widest points on the head and the wings and 8.25" tall at its tallest point. It is in excellent original condition, with a few chips that do NOT detract whatsoever from the beauty of this decorative piece. It was very dried out so it does have a new overcoat finish on it to bring out the wonderful quartered oak grain that is clearly evident in the photos. If you love American hand-carved figural oak, then you will not be disappointed with the piece - guaranteed! And for NO RESERVE , how can you possibly lose? I accept multiple forms of payment, and the winning bidder will be responsible for shipping via USPS's Priority Mail Service, unless otherwise instructed. This fabulous piece of american quartersawn oak handiwork will be carefully wrapped and packaged for maximum protection.
