GREAT PIECE OF HISTORY!! Lot of 36 Vintage 35 mm Slides (black & white)(Anscochrome) from New York City in the 50âe(tm)s. Comes in an argus Automatic Slide Changer Magazine in original box. Slides in good condition, all can be viewed but they do have some spots. Please remember these are vintage and from the 50âe(tm)s. Examples of some of the highlights:-Rockefeller Center, The greenery and gardens of the Rock Center Promenade (Lots of lilyâe(tm)s). The center gardens make way to the sub-ground restaurant area which, as most are familiar with, becomes an ice skating rink in wintertime. Surrounding the sub-ground area are the flags of all nations , -The Mayflower coffee and donut shops (1930s-1970s) used this "Optimist's Creed" as its motto. "As you ramble through Life, Brother, Whatever be your goal. Keep your eye upon the doughnut, And not upon the hole."-Families in a park scene feeding pigeons, Street scene w/ Coty Store in the background, Street scene w/ Best & Co in the background, Horse drawn carriages, Street scene w/cars from the early 50âe(tm)s, People posing, Many of same lady, Some are in the wintertime with coats, some in the summer time, Lots of lilyâe(tm)s.PLUS a Vintage ZADIIX Jr. 35 m.m Slide Strip Viewer in Original Box.
