For your consideration, A SCARCE #38 PUMPING WATER TOWER IN GREAT CONDITION, WITH ORIGINAL TANK, AND IN FULLY FUNCTIONAL OPERATING CONDITION. It is all original except for the reproduction roof. The original tank is complete with the original nipples and no "melting" or holes. It does have some stress cracks from age which are barely visible, but does not leak. The motor has been overhauled, lubed, and has new brushes. The shaft seal has been revised so that it does not leak ( all original shaft seals leak due to the design and due to seal material drying out). It operates perfectly. All of the fragile tower struts are intact. There is no rust or corrosion on any of the bare metal or blued mechanical parts. The original black plastic tubing is included, but not attached, due to the incompatibility problem. I have included some modern clear plastic tubing for operation, if desired. Check the pictures and make your own judgement of the condition. Due to the fragile nature of this item, I will only ship insured for the amount of the winning bid. Shipping cost determined by zip code and shipping method Do not use ebay checkout or freight calculator. Do not pay until I send an invoice with actual freight cost included. I have the original roof which has a broken edge that I will include with the water tower.
