This straight razor has an interesting handle. It looks like a shell type material. W the light parts are, you can see through it. Very light yellowish or beige. Then t are dark designs on it. The razor is marked The Celebrated hollow ground razor. The shank is marked Geo. Manby & Co. with B. Leyre & Co., Sheffield. If you run your fingers down the edges of the handle you can feel slight dents. It is not a straight edge. It feels thicker in parts. T is one section that feels like a catch or slight piece out. The razor is nice. A little surface rust and some scratching but I think a person who knows what they are doing can clean it up. The blade is 5.5 inches long end to end. The handle is approx. 5.75 inches long. This is just one razor from a large collection that I will be listing over the next week. Happy Bidding!
