This is a lot of 40 old Italy postcards with early 1900s color reproductions of classic art in Italy . These are standard-size (3½ x 5½ inches) full color postcards, some from as early as 1900 . This lot includes nine with undivided backs, produced before 1904; six early divided-back cards from the 1905-1915 period, and others from the 1920s and 1930s. Four were used, with postmarks from 1912. Conditions range from Excellent to VG - some are suitable for display. Samples are scanned below. These cards show art displayed in Roma, Firenze, Milano, Venezia, Assisi, Torino, and San Gimignano, including works by Michelangelo, DaVinci, Raffaello, Reni, Luini, Murillo, Lippi, Giotto, Tiziano, Luca della Robbia, Fra Angelico, Paolo Veronese, and others. T are a few reproductions of mosaics at S. Marco in Venezia , and several details from DaVinci's Last Supper (L'Ultima Cena) at Refettorio S. Maria della Grazie in Milano .
