To make unique die-cast models, the HPI die-cast design team researched major high-quality die-cast models in the market from user’s perspective and found out that these are mainly two types of die-cast model collectors. Some collectors remove a die-cast model from the display platform, while others have the platform attached to the model. Without a platform and clear plastic box, die-cast model can be closely looked at from all directions and this means every detail requires full attention. Therefore, we made a design concept to precisely reproduce most parts, visible or invisible, in our die-cast models.
