433 Wistar’s Balsam Wild Cherry matchstrikeA very scarce card, matchstrikes not having a high survival rate by nature of how they were used. This patent medicaine advertising card is strongly desireable on 4 counts: patent medicine subject, match related, graphics, and scarcity. An unusual feature of this particular matchstrike is that it has a glow in the dark disk. T is extensive text on the reverse including reverences to Peruvian Syrup, Grace’s Salve, and Fowle’s Pile & Humor Cure. This advertising novelty is c. 1885.Very good condition with very light age tone, but not distracting.Item #433. Use item # & title information to buy or ask questions.
