44 Pattern Webbing Water bottle cover Used in the Jungles from 1944 and continued being used by SAS and Paras up to the Falklands war and beyond. This particular pouch is believed to have been made in Hong Kong for a cancelled British Army contract. It is NOT an original british made pouch and does NOT have 'lift the dot' fasteners. It is fitted with a cheaper copy fastener. Made from green cotton canvas in a lighter green colour than normal. Easily converted into the drop style pouch as used by SAS. Has internal pouch for Milbank bag. Milbank bag, water bottle and belt not included. Perfect for wearing for re-enactment/ living history. Please check out my other items.
