To my regular customers: I am back listing tools, taking a break from a kitchen remodel. I have a LOT of great tools that I will be listing, including some extraordinary molding planes, plus my usual "one man's junk is another man's treasure" tools and parts.You are bidding on five Millers Falls screwdrivers new in their original box as pictured.The box label is marked "6 No 909 - 8" FORGED PLAIN SCREWDRIVER MADE IN USA BY MILLERS FALLS COMPANY GREENFIELD MASS". The box would have originally held 6, but I have only 5. Only one has ever been unwrapped from its wax paper covering, and it is marked "MILLERS FALLS" on the handle, and "MILLERS FALLS CO MADE IN USA No 909 - 8 IN" on the ferrule. These are quite large and massive screwdrivers, with an overall length of 14-1/4" and a shaft diameter of 3/8". The box weighs nearly 3 pounds, and these are just a bit too long to fit into a Flat Rate box.Condition of the unwrapped screwdriver is brand new, with some traces of cosmoline still on it. T is some scuffing at the end of the wood, which might be just traces of the waxed paper, but it didn't seem to just rub off. I haven't unwrapped the others, but I can see at least one of them has the same scuffing. Condition of the box is good, intact structurally, but it has some water staining and curling at the label end. Please read my shipping terms below, as the US Post Office made some major changes on May 14, and so I have adjusted my terms. ETHICS IN DESCRIPTIONS: I also buy for my collecting on eBay, and I have been burned too many times by misleading (duh did I forget to mention .......) descriptions, and pictures only of the left side when the right side was trashed. Life is much simpler for me if I disclose what I know or see about an item before you bid, and especially before you receive it in the mail. I sell lots of parts, and if you are nervous that I am swapping parts, please understand two things about me. One, I never seem to have the part I need, so t aren't many opportunities, and two, if I have swapped anything, I will tell you. If I think the wedge on a molding plane is not original, I will tell you. If I think a japanned plane has been repainted, I will tell you. What goes around, comes around. RETURN POLICY: I believe that if you give honest descriptions, and include enough pictures, you shouldn't need a return policy. However, that doesn't mean that I won't make an occasional mistake. Please bid with the assurance that if I have made an error in my listing, I WILL take care of you. MY PET PEEVE: is having my response to your question bounce back with an undeliverable email address. If you want me to take the time to carefully answer your question, then I want you to take the time to make sure that the email address that you have registered with eBay is correct. Just because you have the correct address with PayPal does NOT seem to guarantee that you have the correct address with eBay. I would guess that 1 response in 10 is not deliverable.US SHIPPING: Unless noted otherwise above, the fixed amount quoted buys you UNINSURED Priority Mail to anyw in the US. On auctions ending under $100.00, I will give you the option of adding insurance at cost. On auctions that end over $100, I require that you purchase insurance. I will combine on multiple purchases to save on shipping whenever possible (see below), and I accept Paypal or money orders. On purchases under $50, AND if you have good feedback, I will also accept a personal check.
