ARE 5 NICE CRYSTALINE SPECIMENS OF AUTUNITE FROM THE DAYBREAK MINE IN SPOKANE, WA. THE LARGEST SPECIMEN IS ABOUT 1/2" ACROSS ITS WIDEST DIMENSION. AUTUNITE IS A HIGHLY FLUORESCENT MINERAL TO BOTH LONG AND SHORTWAVE UV LIGHT. are 5 very nice specimens of Autunite from the long closed Daybreak Mine in Spokane, Wa. The largest of the specimens is about 1/2" inches in its longest dimension. Total weight of all 5 pieces is about 15 carets. Autunite is one of the highly fluorescent minerals to both short and long wave UV light! You don't see a lot of this autunite around anymore. I have had a few nice pieces for about 20 years and finally decided to sell some of it. These are larger than the average pieces you will find and are all nicely crystalized. To really understand the look of the specimens you just have to look at the pictures which in this case really don't look as nice as the pieces. The pictures were taken under Fluorescent lighting with no enhancement whatsoever. I am into my 4nd year on Ebay as far as selling goes, but judging from the response I got since I started, I think I am doing things pretty well.
