This is really a NICE note! Sorry, no international shipping on this one. Please examine all the images carefully!According to The Standard Guide to Small Size U. S. Paper Money, 1928 to Date, 10 th Edition, page 265 (Krause Publications, Iola, WI, 2011), the backs of these notes will bear micro-size plate numbers 162 or lower. The back of this note was printed with micro-size number 122 and the front plate is labeled "A" in the upper left and "A1" in the lower right (in larger type). BASIC FACTS ABOUT THIS NOTE: County: United States FR#(s): FR2107D Issuing Authority: Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, OH Serial Number(s): D03 363 487A Year(s) of Issue: Early 1950’s. Front Plate Numbers: “A” in the UL and “A1” in the LR. Back Plate Number: Micro-number 122. Please examine all the images carefully! COMMENTS/DESCRIPTION: Please examine all of the images of this lot carefully. Paper: Retains crispness. Centering: Tends to the bottom edge. Corners: From front: UL: very slight soiling, noticeable bend that ends in the margin just to the right of the UL “50” in the oval, does retain rectangular edges; UR: slight soiling on the tip of the corner with a large noticable bend retains rectangular edges; LR: slight tip soiling, retains rectangular edges; LL: slight tip soiling, retains rectangular edges. Color: Clean and clear. Folds: One center vertical fold, very slight soiling when viewed with flashlight behind the note. Please look at the natural light photos to better understand the fold in this note. I cannot find any other folds. Holes/ Pinholes : None. Marks: None. Stains/Soiling: Slight area of tiny mottled black marks or soiling or ink on the UL of back. Tears: none. Please examine all the images carefully! GRADE: After looking closely at this note, I think it grades either Extremely Fine MINUS (EF-) or Very Fine PLUS (VF+). It is somewhere above VERY FINE (VF) into the EXTREMELY FINE (EF) range. The paper and folds are EF but the slight soiling to the corners and the bend on the two upper corners are more like VF. So it is either Extremely Fine MINUS (EF-) or Very Fine PLUS (VF+). EXTREMELY FINE (EF): A very attractive note, with light handling. May have a maximum of three light folds or one strong crease. Paper is clean and firm, without discoloration. Corners are sharp and square without any evidence of rounding. Cuhaj, Editor, KP Books, 2005. VERY FINE (VF): An attractive note, but with more evidence of handling and wear. May have several folds vertically and horizontally. Paper may have minimal dirt or possible color smudging. Paper itself is still relatively crisp and not floppy. There are no tears in the border area, although the edges do show wear.
