First edition, This "is a rare and not easily recognized Derrydale" (Frazier). Complete with 10 full page illustrations, one fold-out, and 12 tipped in head-and tail-pieces. These illustrations show locations and typed of fish caught by Charles Cotton on the Beresford Dale and many other early Fishing tips such as how to fish or angle for trout in a clear stream, the best angling days and ways, Some wet and dry fly patterns, etc. Minor edgewear, inner hinge cracked. 1" crack to outer spine on the rear board.
