50 pcs Professor Carl Aubock 2060 Maestro Flatware Amboss Austria Vintage 1950s mid-century modern Carl Aubock 2060 "Maestro" flatware, by Amboss, Austria, imported by Rosenthal 1957. This cutlery won the gold medal for design at the world exhibition in Brussels, 1958. This set is huge! It consists of 50 pieces, including eight 6-piece place settings (dinner knife, dinner fork, soup spoon, teaspoon, salad fork and the hard to find butter knife). Also included are a large serving spoon and matching serving fork. Brushed and polished satin stainless steel with substantial weight. All pieces are marked "Amboss Austria". The serving fork and spoon each measures 8 and 3/4 inches long and are each marked "Amboss Austria 18/8". The entire set is in excellent condiition, no bends, cracks, splits or dents. No nicks or garbage disposal damage. T are very light surface scratches in the metal consistent with the set's age. No stains or discoloration to the metal. This is a rare opportunity to acquire complete service for 8, with 2 rare serving pieces in this hard to find pattern.
