Up for Auction: 50 pre-1965 silver dimes (the same amount in a five dollar roll). Mostly Roosevelt but some mercury dimes as well. I bought these as a hedge against inflation a few years ago from APMEX, and now need to sell them. Dimes are a great way to ensure that you will be able to buy necessities in case the dollar collapses, (which it seems to be doing right now). They are small and have a known quantity of silver in them, and so are good protection from the hyper inflation which may be coming. You may just buy them for sentimental value. They are great examples of a time long past. When you hold old dimes like these, you can feel a piece of history in your hand. I'm not a coin expert, and don't know anything about the condition of these dimes. But they are all 90% silver dimes and have a total weight of 3.617 troy ounces of silver in the 50 silver dimes. You can actually get silver at a good rate if you invest in US silver coins. The photo of coins pictured is from a previous listing. The dimes in this listing are all pre-1965 90% silver, similar to the ones shown. I will only ship within the US because I don't know anything about the customs paperwork involved in shipping overseas. If you live in VT, you will need to include 6% sales tax. I will ship in a USPS flat rate box. enjoy your dimes!
