Each leaf is on heavy buff paper with five lines of bold, black muhaqqaq script, opening bifolio with sura headings in gold within blue ruled panels. Additional sura headings in red and gold. A magnificent calligraphic example from a Koran that is more than 500 years old. Verso : five lines of bold, black muhaqqaq script on very heavy buff paper. Condition of this leaf is less than fine, however, considering its age, it is still a magnificant example of early Ottoman script and a wonderful addition to any Islamic Manuscript collection! [F-].
